About Corey Doak
The songs of award winning folk gospel artist Corey Doak (pronounced like "oak" tree) have a keen sense of artistry and quick wit that has spoken deeply to many hearts in a span of 10 years and 5 albums. A unique blend of story, offbeat humor, psalmistry and poetry make him a standout amongst artists.
His CD “No Sudden Movements” is the winner of the 2009 Covenant Award for the Folk/Roots Album of the Year and the 2009 BC Interior Music Award for Christian/Gospel Recording of the Year.
Corey has performed hundreds of concerts across Canada & the United States, Mexico, Lithuania and Latvia. He has shared the stage with a wide array of notable performers including Martyn Joseph, Leeland, POD, Fresh I.E., Downhere, Greg Sczebel, Steve Bell, John Reuben, Starfield, Fred Penner and Shaun Groves.
Currently Corey is on hiatus from touring while recording a new album & producing another.
